Canine Hydrotherapy & Swimming Centre in Preston
We opened in 1992 by owner and manager Anne Johnson. Anne’s dream was to create a Canine Hydrotherapy centre that also specialised in Massage, Physio and Rehabilitation techniques.
We are NARCH Registered Canine Hydrotherapists and offer a unique and extremely successful style of canine hydrotherapy based on years of experience in the field.
Canine hydrotherapy is particularly beneficial in calming and relaxing dogs who may be nervous around water. But, its especially beneficial for dogs who may be very wary about using a limb following surgery or injury.
Our canine hydrotherapists are trained to provide the most appropriate treatment programme according to the medical condition of your dog and to take account of specific surgical procedures used.
We are constantly updating our training and understanding in relation to new techniques offered by the veterinary profession.
So you can rest assured that your Dog is in highly trained and caring hands.
All dogs visiting Canine Therapies are treated with the utmost care and their wellbeing is our main concern. Everyone’s pet is an individual! We like to spend time with owners before commencing any treatment so that we understand their temperament, idiosyncrasies, and commands understood by your dog. These are some of the many reasons why we like to involve owners in their dog’s treatment plan.
We specialise in caring for injured dogs, but our centre is also a place where dogs who love to swim can come and have some fun!
Our Canine Hydrotherapy centre is not just for injured and recovering animals, it is also for dogs who want to have fun!
If you want to give your dog a huge treat, let it come here and make a big splash! And if the owner is unable to exercise their dogs for whatever reason, what better way to burn off that excess energy in a safe and controlled environment!
Come and give it a go.
