Dog Hydrotherapy Courses – why choose Canine Therapies?

Dog hydrotherapy courses at Canine Therapies differ from those offered by other centres. Some of the theoretical learning is done in your own home. Thus reducing time away from work, and the cost of travel and accommodation. The format of these dog hydrotherapy courses have been carefully designed. Created to benefit different learning styles. Practical elements of the course presented in a real work environment. This provides individual tuition and assessment for every module. This ensures complete understanding and knowledge of each learning outcome. Known as “blended learning”. Another positive aspect is to give our students good value for money. All extra days of tutored practical work are included in the cost of the course. A requirement for membership of CHA or NARCH, our professional associations. There is a charge for students qualified from other centres to take these extra days.

The most effective learning style for most people is hands-on. With positive teaching methods throughout the experience. All done in a normal working environment. Hence the reason that our students gain much more than from other similar courses. It is likely that only 2 students attend the practical days at any one time. This maximises the support and training each can receive. There may be occasional overlaps of students, depending on demand.
